Raina, Dominion Space

Publicly available information on Raina is limited, but not zero.

Her name is Sceleste Raina – Raina, perhaps surprisingly, being her house name not her given name – though no-one ever seems to call her anything but Raina. She is aged 16, her birth date 195.169. A hybrid with a plain silver tag.

Mother Mimar Raina, father did not accept the offspring and so is less easily amenable to a research query. Mimar died when Raina was aged 4, Raina made mention of an ‘Uncle Strika’, with whom she lived until she completed her Middle Education then moved to Zargonia to join a Cadets program. Details are uncertain, but it seems that Raina is a voluntary drop-out from the Vizierate academy on Zargonia, turning down the opportunity to be a Vizier. She then moved to Aaran’s Pride to pursue a Higher Education path. In any case, she has an exemplary photographic memory.

Raina is about 1.78m tall, with a solid frame. She has brown eyes, but has recently had iris-colouring to put gold flecks in the irises. She has naturally brown hair, but often dyes it. She has natural physical strength supplemented by training, including regular practice in some form of martial art.

Sartorially, she has two ‘looks’ – she has a couple of dozen identically-cut dark-grey pant suits for wearing at work, and for private wear she has a wardrobe of garish and exotic casual clothes – many quite revealing.

Raina is based at Captree.

Raina is not apparently a socialite, though Raina maintains an opulent residence on Little Isle, which is about 100km from Cap Isle, and there are occasional ‘private functions’ held there to which the gossip socialites apparently don’t have access. Her residence is large enough that she maintains a housekeeping staff of ‘grey jackets‘ to look after it.

She is a named partner in the private legal advisory partnership of Zevon, Croolsee, Brownej and Raina, which operates out of an office in the Central District of Cap Isle on Captree.

It turns out that it’s quite difficult to find data on Raina, very few photos, no gossip, definitely nothing on romantic partners (though her sexual orientation seems to be homosexual.) Lia found a couple of photos of functions here and there in which Raina appears in the background or a group shot. The functions are varied in topic, but always noted as being ones where members of the Secretariat are attending. The riotous colour thing appears to have started prior to the date of the earliest photo.

If she digs she will be able to find evidence of where Raina has executed her role in the legal system, she’s a qualified Advocate in the technical legal sense – able to appear before an Inquisitor or other legal adjudicator to present a case.

She has recently purchased a star yacht.

Aside from her apparent professional and personal life, she is head of an organised crime group with territory covering Captree, Argyropoulos, Pristine and Newerth. She also maintains agents (including Lexi Lochan and Martell Bartman-Jira) to watch the goings on of her fellow organised crime leaders.
